Summary
Westmount Square Surgical Center (WSSC) implemented Crises Control’s incident management platform to introduce a reliable, app-based Code Blue alert system for medical emergencies. By using existing iPads to deliver immediate notifications across departments, WSSC improved emergency communication without the complexity of installing a traditional wired system.
Problem
Westmount Square Surgical Center, a private clinic specialising in surgical procedures, needed a reliable healthcare emergency notification system to alert medical staff during Code Blue incidents. As an established facility, WSSC wanted to avoid the disruption of installing a traditional wired system while finding a practical solution that could utilise its existing departmental communication devices.
Solution
WSSC implemented Crises Control’s mass notification software to deliver Code Blue alerts directly to existing departmental iPads, through the Crises Control mobile app already installed on them. The app-based solution provides a practical incident management platform for healthcare emergency response, enabling immediate communication across departments while avoiding complex installations and supporting coordinated medical responses.
