At the UK Ministry of Defence, George was a senior executive responsible for the development and implementation of defence national targeting policy and strategic plans involving the integration of policy, plans, legal and operational matters. He was responsible for the implementation of a national response to crises, providing the highest level of government with critical and nationally sensitive executive decision-making support.
