In this video Dr Samuel brings a legal and broader resilience perspective to dealing with incidents and crises, including issues of due diligence, civil liability and even criminal liability that can arise from such incidents.
Dr Samuel also talks about handling multi-hazard incidents, where the primary incident leads to secondary and even tertiary impacts that can be more catastrophic than the initial event and the necessity for a multi-disciplinary approach to risk planning and response.
