Crises Control nominated for Cloud DR and Continuity Product of the Year 2017

Computing Cloud Excellence Awards 2017

I am delighted to announce that Crises Control, the mass notification, multi-channel, business continuity platform and crisis response solution, has been shortlisted for Cloud DR and Continuity Product of the Year in the inaugural Computing Cloud Excellence Awards 2017.

Developed in 2014 by Transputec for its own clients, Crises Control was so successful that they took its development up a level, adding to its user experience and incorporating a number of features unique in the field, before launching it onto the open market.

This latest award nomination confirms Transputec’s long-established reputation as a pioneering innovator in the field of cloud services, alongside a nomination for another Transputec developed product, SHIELDIntelefile for Most Innovative Cloud Service or Product of the Year.

The Cloud DR and Continuity Product of the Year Award is for solutions that demonstrate the most reliable service and have impressed the judges in terms of innovation, features and market share.

Crises Control is a business continuity and recovery tool whose fundamental design is based around the opportunities offered by the cloud to enhance business resilience. It makes use of the cloud in a number of ways. Firstly, it provides cloud hosted storage and uses the software-as-a-service model to ensure that the service is always available, even when the customer’s own IT networks are placed out of action or inaccessible.

Secondly, Crises Control makes use of a cloud telecommunications platform to support our global multi-channel communications. This service provides 24/7 e-mail, SMS, voice to text, push notifications and conference calls to our customers and ensures that in the event of a crisis, the message will be guaranteed to get through via one or more of the channels available.

The awards ceremony will be held on 20 September at the Hilton London Tower Bridge Hotel. I will keep you posted!
