Crises Control features in CIR Magazine 2015/16 EMN Software Report

Crises Control has featured for the first time in the Continuity Insurance & Risk Magazine, Emergency and Mass Notification Software Report for 2015/16. The Report is a market leading analysis of the top 13 global suppliers of emergency and mass notification software.

The CIR Magazine Report notes that the market for emergency and mass notification software solutions is predicted to expand rapidly over the next few years and that it is expected to grow from a value of US$3.81bn in 2015 to US$8.57bn in 2020. That would be an impressive compound annual growth rate of 17.6 per cent.

The Report says that products can now offer much more value than a simple notification messaging system thanks to increased functionality and integration into other business systems. Solutions are also now accessible to a much wider range of organisations than was once the case and almost every solution now offers a number of possible implementation and operation models. This is certainly true for Crises Control, which offers the platform as Software as a Service, as well as internally hosted and on government G-Cloud platforms compliant to the highest levels of security.

Regulation continues to drive take-up in some sectors, with organisations under more pressure to ensure effective communication with employees, suppliers and other stakeholders. Supply chain relationships are another increasingly important driver. Here at Crises Control we fully understand the need to link up remotely located offices and suppliers into a resilient business continuity network. This is why we first developed the app with our parent company Transputec, which provides managed IT services across the globe.

The CIR Report says that the list of must-have features for a notification solution is expanding. Global reach is important, but reliability, flexibility and user friendliness are essential. The Report has compiled a matrix of 90 possible features for emergency mass notification software. Crises Control already features more than 70 of these functions and we are releasing new functions on a regular basis.

If you are looking to procure emergency mass notification software, then the CIR Report and Matrix is a great place to start. You can use it to quickly compare suppliers and functionality. We think that if you do so seriously then Crises Control will be on your list of tender invitations. We certainly hope so.
